Coaching
Coaching primarily deals with identifying and achieving positive change, as well as developing emotional intelligence and conscious awareness of the behaviors that negatively impact results.
In a church environment, coaching is a leadership behavior that lies at the opposite end of the spectrum from command and control. In effect, coaching addresses the whole person, not just his/her role in the organization. The ultimate goal of coaching is to allow people to learn, rather than to teach.
We coach pastors and their teams, helping them unlock the potential that has already been placed in their church by Jesus (1 Corinthians 12). As each individual takes this journey of discovery, the team’s performance rises exponentially.
As your Coach, I will believe in you completely. I will stretch you, challenge you, and sometimes confront you, but always from a supportive position. As your coach, I will laugh with you and travel with you as a partner in your success journey. You can count on me to be honest, open, and non-judgmental. I will help you to achieve all that you can be, as long as you stay true to your own best interests. As we work together to achieve your dreams, I will assume that you are ready to achieve your goals, and it is my role to challenge you further than you would challenge yourself. My specific purpose is to get you to where you want to be, faster than you would do so on your own. It should be comforting to you to know that everything that transpires between us will stay confidential. I will always stand within the standards & ethics under which I have been trained.
